There are many wonders in Indonesia and a lot of beautiful islands that are good for vacation. Here are some of the most popular ones:
1. *Bali*: Bali is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Indonesia because of its nickname — “The Island of the Gods.” It has got beautiful beaches such as Kuta Beach, Seminyak Beach, and Nusa Dua, along with other attractions such as cultural sites. In addition to this, Ubud is also popular for rice terraces and has a very active and prominent profile in the art world.
2. *Lombok*: The island next to Bali is no less stunning from the point of view of the complexity of natural landscapes. Some of them are the Senggigi and Kuta Lombok Beaches, as well as Mount Rinjani. These island destinations include Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air also boast rich marine life.
3. *Raja Ampat*: Raja Ampat is a world of tourist attractions situated in the west of Papua, Indonesia, known to be the best place for divers and nature enthusiasts. The archipelago is well famous as the place that has one of the largest diversity of marine life in the world and incredibly beautiful nature landscapes.
4. *Komodo*: It is well known for the Komodo National Park with the world’s largest lizard, the Komodo dragon. It also has nice, sandy beaches such as the Pink Beach and is also an excellent place for diving.
5. *Bunaken*: Bunaken Island is one of the marine tourist destinations in Indonesia, especially for diving, and can be found in the north part of Sulawesi.
6. *Belitung*: This island has white sand and large granite rocks that are perpendicular to the sea, along the coastal stretch. This movie also helped being more spotlight to Belitung, particularly through the movie titled, “Laskar Pelangi.”
7. *Nusa Penida*: Nusa Penida is situated near the island of Bali, and is famous for its towering cliffs, stunning secretive coves, and superlative snorkeling opportunities.
All these islands are unique and therefore the best is determined by what one prefers in the course of a holiday.
